The It remake hit pretty much all the right notes last year. With an awesome cast of talented young actors, and genuine scares, it seemed like Pennywise had jumped straight off Stephen King’s pages and into our nightmares once more. It: Chapter 2 will begin production soon, but so far we’ve only been given tidbits of info regarding casting for the adult counterparts for our heroes, the Losers Club. Just yesterday, two cast members were confirmed for the horror follow up, with Andy Bean (Here And Now) slated to play Stan Uris, and James Ransone (Sinister) to play Eddie Kaspbrak.

The news was accompanied by confirmations that James McAvoy (Split) and Bill Hader (Inside Out) had finished negotiations to appear in the film, playing Bill Denbrough and Richie Tozier respectively. Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game) will also play adult Bev Marsh, role, which should be perfect. Many fans thought Amy Adams (Arrival) was a shoe-in due to her uncanny resemblance to Sophia Lillis (young Bev), but perhaps there is still a place for her down the road. Bill’s wife in the novel also resembles Bev greatly, and is a crucial character all her own.

Below you can see some side by side comparisons of the other confirmed cast members. It: Chapter 2 is already lining up an absolutely stacked cast, obviously led by a returning Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise, the eponymous It. The new actors will hopefully do justice to the characters established by their young colleagues, and bring their acclaimed horror story to a satisfyingly terrifying conclusion.

It: Chapter 2 will release September 2019. Until then, avoid storm drains, wells, sewers, and library basements. Things float down there. And you’ll float too!
